How much more traffic will be on the small dualled part of A46 (if B is used) than on the A435 between Seven bends roundabout and Teddington Hands roundabout if A is used?

Based on the 2031 opening year assessment, during the morning peak (the busiest part of the day) the current traffic modelling indicates flows for the short dualled section of the A46 (unique to Option B) are approximately 20% higher compared to the A435 with Option A. The difference increases in future years when additional local development is included in the Ashchurch area – with current development scenario tests showing a circa 40% difference.

TAAG NOTE

The opening year contradicts with 2034 in the documentation.
