Both Option A and B are currently proposed to be a single carriageway road with one traffic lane in each direction between Seven Bends and Teddington Hands / existing A46. The width of the road itself would therefore be similar. However, Option B would need to cross the Tirle Brook flood zone on embankment to the west of the A435. The overall width required including the embankment means that Option B is likely to be wider than Option A.
